  • First, gather all the ingredients listed above in the right amounts. Then, focus on preparing the key ingredients.
  • Take 50 grams of pork meat for each patty. Chop it up finely and add some seasonal spices, a bit of salt, a pinch of black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and any other spices you like.
  • Mix everything together really well so that the flavours are evenly spread throughout the meat. This mixture will be used to make your round-shaped pork patties.
  • Now, you need to heat up some cooking oil in a pan over medium heat. Place the patty in the pan and cook it until it’s fully cooked, which takes a few minutes on each side.
  • Take one potato and shred it into thin pieces using a grater. Soak the shredded potato in water for a bit, then remove it from the water and remove the excess water. This will help the rosti become crispy when cooked.
  • Now, it’s time to prepare the egg. Crack an egg into the frying pan with cooking oil and fry it until it’s cooked to your liking.
  • Next, take a slice of bacon and fry it in the cooking oil on both sides.
  • Now, add some pepper, salt, and all-purpose flour to the mixture. Shape it into a rectangular patty.
  • Fry it in cooking oil over medium heat, flipping it after regular intervals to ensure it cooks evenly and becomes a perfect rosti.
  • Next, heat a large tortilla on a griddle. Then, let’s set up the ingredients.
  • Start by placing a slice of cheddar cheese on the tortilla. Then, add the pork sausage patty and the rosti on top of the cheese slice. Then, place the streaky bacon and egg on these ingredients.
  • Add the layer of brown sauce and wrap up these ingredients. This is how you can prepare a homemade breakfast wrap.

Our Review

This breakfast wrap comes with a bunch of healthy ingredients, all put together in a large tortilla. The ingredients were fresh, and upon taking a bit of it, I literally had the best combination of ingredients inside my mouth, and the unique flavour of each ingredient came together to form a great savoury.

In my opinion, this wrap is somehow a bit different because the brown sauce gives it a different flavor, and you would definitely not miss the chance to eat it as this is available for a limited time on the McDonald’s Breakfast menu here in the United Kingdom.

This breakfast wrap carries ingredients like potato rosti, streaky bacon, a cheddar cheese slice, an egg patty, a large tortilla, and a layer of brown sauce over them.

McDonald’s shut down its service of offering breakfast wraps during the pandemic period. However, since then, they have not served this wrap for breakfast until January 2024, when they decided to bring back this iconic breakfast wrap after a list of requests from the people.
